Why Network as a Service?
  • Accelerates network deployment
  • Guarantees network availability and security
  • Substantially reduces capital expenses; aligns expenses with usage
  • Eliminates need for a dedicated in-house wireless/networking team
Advantages

The Ramen solution operates using unlicensed spectrum – initially using the CBRS and WiFi frequency bands in the US. Private cellular, also called private 5G, offers significant benefits over the traditional carrier-centric approach. With private cellular, enterprises retain control over their destiny and avoid waiting for years for the carrier to deploy in their region of interest. The Ramen solution also brings the benefits of modern cloud/edge computing to the non-carpeted enterprise putting it on the same footing as the carpeted enterprise.

Network Security

The Ramen solution integrates with the enterprise’s existing security architecture and meets all enterprise security requirements. It offers robust user and device management capabilities and allows the creation of custom user management policies. By leveraging the existing enterprise profile management framework, the Ramen solution can easily manage policies for users and devices connecting over the wireless network.  The Ramen solution supports Client-less Zero Trust Network Access/Zero Trust User Access (ZTNA/ZTUA).

“Ramen’s innovative Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) solution combines the power of enterprise Wi-Fi and private 5G technology to provide a highly reliable and secure wireless service with SLA guarantees. We are excited to be working with Ramen in deploying this solution at multiple customer sites, such as the Denver University Kennedy Mountain Campus.  We believe that the Ramen solution will be a game-changer for the uncarpeted enterprise.”

Russell Kaurloto

Vice Chancellor & CIO, University of Denver

“DU has been exploring new technologies, specifically private CBRS/5G for a year. We now have a Ramen solution fully deployed across our mountain campus, with coverage over roughly 700 acres.  The system has been up and running for over 6 months, being one of the first in higher education.  Access is really easy - students scan a QR code while on the bus traveling to the mountain campus (8000 feet) which activates their eSim giving them access to all over-the-top apps. We have a bunch of other use-cases: security cameras, environmental sensors, academic research. It’s like WiFi on steroids.”
